Moved from Canada and needed to take a behind the wheel test to get my California DL. I booked with Bay Area Driving school to have use of their vehicle as I don’t have my own, and to take advantage of their test prep. My instructor, Carrie, was thorough, warm and provided helpful tips that gave me confidence during my exam. Thankfully, I passed! Highly recommended if you need a refresher on road rules as a foreigner, and/or if you want that extra assurance that you’ll pass the exam. Great customer service and professionalism. I had a great experience with Bay Area Driving Academy. I found it was convenient to schedule an appointment online through their website. It was a professionally designed website and easy to navigate hence providing a seamless experience overall. Additionally, there is a text reminder from the school a day before your scheduled appointment.
I have taken a few lessons with Carrie. She has provided a lot of advice that was helpful for behind the wheel test. She has been very patient with me even though I made the repetitive mistakes over and over again. The car is also very well maintained and in good condition. 9/9/2017

I have twins: a boy and a girl. They are very different kids and needed instructors to fit their personalities and skills. We got both at Bay Area Driving Academy. Did all the scheduling online. Personally, I found the website difficult to use, but maybe it was because of my browser (Chrome). All communications were excellent – especially the reminders about upcoming driving lessons. Got a full report at the end of the lesson about what the teen driver needed to work on. Instructors Carrie and Luis both knowledgeable about DMV requirements. Both of my kids gained confidence with their driving instructors. Highly recommend. 6/25/2017
