Tuition and Payment Policy
Our tuition and payment policy is part of Bay Area Driving Academy’s commitment to your success in driving. We believe you should get what you pay for and you should book these amazing services with confidence. In addition, you can rest assured knowing you can receive a full refund if you cancel the appointment (*with 24-hours or more notice).
You will pay online during the enrollment process for one of the three courses (driver education, mature driver safety, or traffic school). After which you will be able to start accessing your online lesson immediately and at your leisure.
We collect tuition and payment during the enrollment of each course(s). Pay online by credit/debit card to secure scheduling of appointment(s).
In brief, starting January 11, 2019, Bay Area Driving Academy transitioned to only accepting credit card payment. As such, online payment is now required in order to complete the registration process. Consequently, this decision was made to modernizing our company and streamlining our operations. As well as being able to add this convenience to our students.
We have simple pricing for our in-car courses one price for all course types. Whether you choose 1 or 10 lessons – it is simply $145.00 per lesson. We offer either our Adult or Teen Academy Driving Program (6hr package for beginners) or our various à la Carte Courses including Freeway Focused Course for $145.00 per 2-hour course.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us by phone or email. You may request a return or credit within 30 days of the receipt of the service for the purchase of any online education courses (from our partners at Traffic Safety Consultants at 877.550.0476) or prepaid in-car lesson.
In-car behind-the-wheel driving course(s) that is in progress or already attended may not be returned for refund or exchange under any circumstances unless stated otherwise during the time of purchase.
A transaction processing fee from the third party service provider is applied to ALL pre-paid canceled appointments using a credit or debit card.
CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING POLICY
If you need to cancel or reschedule any lessons booked, we do require 24 hours or more notice in order to avoid a $100.00 charge for the missed time. As long as we have 24 hours or more, we can certainly reschedule without charge. Thank you for respecting what we love doing most – serving you!
Cancellation Due to Rain. We only cancel a driving lesson when, at the start of the appointment, there is a severe storm which continues through the scheduled time of the training that, in our professional opinion, becomes a safety issue for our student and instructor.
