Took four lessons with Scott and passed the road test using their car! Scott is a patient and supportive instructor who explains things very clearly and is very fun to talk to! The post-lesson review email they send out is also super helpful in reminding me what I learned and what I need to improve in. During test day, he accompanied me through it all and helped a lot with calming my nerves. Would 10/10 recommend (10/19/2023)

I’ve worked with multiple instructors at this school to get my adult driver’s license and they are all very nice and knowledgeable about the test and the rules of the road. The post lesson feedback which scores the core competencies is extremely helpful to make sure I am making progress with each lesson.

I worked with Forest, Scott, Leroy, Carrie, and Ryane (I had Ryane for my passing test assist) and I would highly recommend all of them! Also shout out to Jenny for always being understanding of my work/test schedule and working around it. (10/6/2023)

I took about 7 or so lessons with Carrie, and today was able to pass my driving test at the DMV. Bay Area Driving Academy was the second school I tried after a less great experience at another driving school, and I definitely recommend them. Carrie is understanding, patient, and willing to meet you where you are at. I am visually impaired and only recently learned there were options for me to drive, so I learned to drive as an adult. My vision and my learning to drive a bit later in life brought about a lot of anxieties, but Carrie was encouraging, and very respectful of my situation. If you have special needs or need to take a supplemental driving test, Carrie and her team might be a good fit for you. Jenny in scheduling was also very helpful and accommodating working around my work schedule, helping me find slots that would allow me to take driving lessons after my work days, which was greatly appreciated. Teresa was wonderful, I selected the Test Day Assist Course and right from the jump she was super helpful and knew how to have a good time. She made sure to give me good pointers and that I knew what the driving instructor would expect from me. I highly recommend going with her if you need any help driving whatsoever because she will break things down nice and easy and will make you feel prepared. Thanks again Teresa you are awesome!
