Academy Driving Instructor Ryane
Ryane brings over a decade of teaching experiences as both a English teacher and driving instructor. A strong background in education, she has worked with thousands of students of all ages and background throughout her teaching career. Her vast teaching experiences include working with international students to conducting both online and classroom courses. Having lived aboard in both Taiwan and Puerto Rico for a number of years, she is well versed in helping out of state students adapt to San Francisco Bay Area driving.
Already a state-licensed driving instructor with over 500 in-car lessons conducted, she is well-experienced in helping others master a new skill. Patient, hard-working, and knowledgeable are frequently used to describe her talent as an amazing educator. Ryane has earned a BA from United States Institute of Language and Cultural Studies. She also loves to play basketball on her free time.

Ryane was my driving instructor for my 5 lessons. I had heard about her from friends of my mother and those recommendations were well placed. I had never driven before the lessons and she was yet very calm, and informative when it came to learning. I feel as if I’ve already grown a lot. While my driving test didn’t turn out how we hoped, she was very supportive and all around an amazing teacher. (9/23/2022)
I was able to improve my driving skills during my two lessons with Ryane because I felt very comfortable driving with her. She was calm and encouraging which significantly improved my confidence on the road. I liked the detailed feedback she gave me on my driving because it helped me be a more safe driver. I HIGHLY recommend choosing Ryane for your lessons!

(Wrote this review following a May 18, 2022 appointment) David helped me for the Test Day Assist Course. He was on time, professional, polite, and helpful. We met at the San Mateo DMV 40 minutes before my scheduled test. We took about 25 minutes to learn how to operate his car for the test, and we reviewed some testing essentials. David also helped me with some last minute tips and tweaks to my driving. The car operated perfectly during the test and I passed on my first try! Thanks David. Really happy with the experience.
