Our Test Day Assist Course is all inclusive lesson/assistance for the big day: your DMV road test to get your driver license. The 3-hour assistance course includes the certified instructor accompanying you to the DMV road exam, about an hour of practice prior, assistance with check-in, and use of school vehicle.
So are you ready for your drive test, but don’t own a vehicle? Maybe taking lessons and feeling comfortable in the car used for training? We are more than happy to accommodate you with the use of one of our vehicles for your test day, as well as an instructor escort.
The student will schedule the test appointment directly with the DMV, and it would need to be coordinated with our online calendar for availability.
The DMV road exam must be schedule 60 to 75 minutes after lesson start time to ensure we arrive on-time at the DMV for your test appointment. And at one of the following DMV locations only:
South Bay Service Area
Santa Clara DMV, San Jose DMV (Alma), Santa Teresa DMV, or Los Gatos DMV
Peninsula Service Area
Redwood City DMV, San Mateo DMV, or Daly City DMV
Again, the Test Day Assist Course will need to be scheduled 60 to 75 minutes prior to your DMV road test appointment. In case of unforeseen DMV delays exceeding 3-hour course time, we will charge a $50.00 fee for delays that are 10 minutes or more (up to 30 minutes ONLY) at the time of drop-off. Instructors are unable to wait for any longer possible delays at the DMV.
This course is 3 hours, and includes pick up and drop off. In addition, all training vehicles are automatic Honda Civic with an extra brake and mirror for the instructor. Moreover, we have comprehensive commercial auto insurance coverage. So our students are covered for each lesson.
The course will include the following:
- Use of car and instructor
- Pre-test review (about an hour)
- Pick up/drop-off on test day
