I had my first driving lesson with Teresa and she was amazing!! She kept me calm and gave me the confidence I needed! I just wish her schedule wasn’t so full, so that I could get more lessons with her! Highly recommended! 4/4/2018

This review is long overdue. My twins had Teresa for a driving instructor. She was great! They felt comfortable with her expertise. She had them doing freeway driving fairly quickly and they learned a lot. I had to change the scheduled lessons a few times due to their other activities. It was easy to reschedule. They both passed their DMV road test on the first attempt. Yay! Thank you Bay Area Driving Academy and Teresa! 3/21/2018

I had a 2-hour lesson for adults with Carrie and it was great. I had the experience of driving outside of US and this course was very helpful for learning about driving here. I am very happy with the feedback Carrie provided at the end of the course.

If I need to take more lessons, I would take them with Bay area driving academy for sure. 3/17/2018

Hello! It was my first time looking for driving school and I’ve driven couple of years outside of US, in Asia, but in US- first time. Went to yelp and found Bay Area Driving Academy. I called and then book two appointments – first, 2 hour pre-test course with Carrie, second, test-day 2 hour course with Tony.

Thank you Carrie and Tony that I passed my test in first attempt! I’ll share my review about experience:

a) Carrie: On pre-test course, she was timely, amazing instructor – hilarious, chatty, and very detailed observation and followup instructions to correct what i did wrong, and tips from her for the test day on when do we get auto failed and when do they reduce 1 point were incredibly helpful to keep in mind.

b) Tony: On test-day course, He was timely, relaxed (so i got relaxed and not nervous), awesome instructor – chatty and I think Tony was more happy than i was on passing the test. He provided all the detailed instructions, let me drive through important routes, and was there inside the DMV at the couters to help with the documentation pre and post test, and most important provided step by step guidance.

Pros:

1) Excellent instruction, very detailed and helpful

2) Good Online Website system to book appointments

3) You get email and text in intervals as reminder for course day

4) Timely response to inquiries over phone and via email

5) Nice communication to connect and save time on course day

6) If the course is 2 hours, exact 2 hours or surplus minutes are put into effort, to help learn more.

I did not have any negative experience, so can’t post Con’s in my review.

If you are new driver looking for school, i would highly recommend to go with Bay Area Driving Academy. Carrie and Tony have the motivational drive and experience to help student like me or any folks to get through the test.
