Bay Area Driving Academy Reviews

I had initially planned to only schedule a single lesson with BADA, but I quickly signed up for a freeway lesson with Leroy after attending an initial Academy Driving Program lesson with him. He has such a wonderful way of showing your true capabilities and potential.

In each lesson, we worked up to things that were initially beyond my comfort zone (driving to the top of Montebello Rd, for example), but in a way that felt completely natural comfortable.

On top of that, the lessons were just fun. Leroy instilled within me a love for driving. The same goes for instructor Steven. I am so thankful to you both! (10/29/2025)

Steven is a wonderful instructor. I tend to be on the nervous side, but he made me feel completely at ease and confident behind the wheel, even on tricker sections of 280 and the tight neighborhood around the Alma DMV.

I passed my driving test today, and I absolutely credit it to Steven and Leroy’s fantastic guidance. Thank you, Steven, for turning driving into a confidence booster and a new hobby of mine. (10/29/2025)

I highly recommend Bay Area driving Academy. My son had Efrain as his instructor. My son felt very comfortable with him, and most importantly took in all of his recommendations and advice. I noticed an improvement in my son’s driving skills as a result. Efrain was also able to communicate with me as a parent and he was honest and friendly. David was a consummate professional. Arrived right on time, super friendly, and put me right at ease behind the wheel. At all times I felt like confident behind the wheel with David next to me. What’s more, he helped me pass my test first time! Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Highly recommended. (9/5/2025)

Leroy is an excellent instructor. He covers all aspects of driver training, helpfully pointing out areas for improvement. Leroy is friendly, positive, and gives great advice. (8/28/2025)
