I had a great experience at Bay Area Driving Academy and successfully passed my driving test on the first try! Learning to drive as an adult was quite daunting for me, especially with my tendency to get nervous, but the instructors at Bay Area Driving Academy made the process much more manageable.

Leroy, who I had most of my lessons with, was particularly outstanding. His calm and positive demeanor really helped to put me at ease and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. All of the instructors I worked with, including Forest, Clifton, and Scott, were knowledgeable, approachable, and had great attitudes.

I had also taken lessons with a couple of other driving schools (A-Z Driving and Advantage), but Bay Area Driving Academy stood out in terms of lesson structure, after-lesson feedback, instructor quality, up-to-date knowledge on road rules, and the convenience of online scheduling and appointment management. The only minor drawback was the need to schedule lessons a few weeks in advance due to limited appointment availability.

During the test, my examiner commented on how well I drove and even praised the driving school for the quality of instruction.

I booked using your site before for a highway course which went amazing and taught me a lot! Recently I had to take my driving test and I booked it with Clifton and Clifton helped give me the tips and last minute corrections that helped me pass the driving test!

In June 2024, I enrolled in an international relocation course to help me become familiar with the roads in California. Scott, my instructor, was very patient and provided constructive feedback, highlighting both my strengths and areas for improvement during our sessions. He also explained what to expect on the day of the exam.

After the lesson and some additional practice on my own, I decided to take the test and opted for the Test Day Assist service. Clifton, my instructor, guided me through the pre-test check and we practiced driving around the Santa Clara DMV area. His assistance gave me peace of mind, allowing me to focus on the exam without any additional worries.

Overall, I would recommend Bay Area Driving Academy to my friends who are looking to get their driving licence in the Bay Area.

I took two lessons with Scott. He was very calm through the whole time he pointed out all of my mistakes and gave lots of advice how to improve my driving. I even scheduled the behind-the-wheel test with them but a different instructor ( Clifton) and I passed the test with zero mistakes. I highly recommend this driving school to anyone!
