Update

First time around had a very bad experience, but I decided to give it another go. I got to talk to one of the owners, Carrie, and she was very polite and explained what had happened. Anyways, 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Lesson-wise, I had an awesome time and learned a lot. 6/5/2018

We chose BADA for my 16 yr old daughter based on the Yelp reviews. We had instructor Teressa for 4 hours and then instructor Carrie for last 2 hours. Both of them were very good and taught my daughter what to do and how to drive and pointed out all the mistakes she did at the same time made her feel very comfortable while she was driving. We did 4 hours (2 hours at a time within a couple of weeks) and then saved the last 2 hours for just before the actual driving test. We also practiced with her A LOT in between. My daughter had her very first driving test this morning and she passed the first time. The DMV instructor made sure to let me know that she did very well and it felt like going on a joy ride. So thanks to Teressa and Carrie!! I would pick them again for our next kid when the time comes in a few years! Awesome!! 6/4/2018

I had Vanessa for two sessions after not driving for MONTHS, and let me just say she is an amazing instructor for anyone who faces anxiety or nervousness while driving. She is extremely calm and collected and will definitely make anyone feel at ease while driving; her down to earth attitude made both sessions exceptionally fun and enjoyable, while still being exceedingly informative! I personally had a lot of trouble when it came to pulling up to curbs, and Vanessa gladly helped me through the process numerous times without hesitation (at one point, she even got out of the car to tell me how far away the car was from the curb)! Overall, she’s AMAZING!!! She’s everything you could possibly ask for in an instructor (especially if you’re a new driver) 😀

I also had Carrie for two sessions and she’s everything I just stated above and more! She’s super cool, friendly, and overall awesome!! I only had her for one session right before my actual test day and I can’t believe how much she taught me within such a short time frame; it’s mind-blowing how informative, yet fun both sessions were with her! 😀

Tldr; I couldn’t have asked for better instructors to make driving feel like such a fun and great experience!! 5/24/2018

I had such a great experience with this business! To start off I wasn’t comfortable being behind the wheel and due to certain circumstances I didn’t have someone to teach me. I opted to look online for driving schools and I found Bay Area Driving Academy. Booking lessons was very easy and my driving instructor Carrie was AMAZING, not only is she super helpful but she’s so nice and goes into nice detail when explaining how to maneuver the vehicle. She gave me a lot of pointers and helpful tips to be a confident driver. I passed on my first try and thanks to Carrie, I highly recommend her!! 4/27/2018

The 6 hour teen driving program in Bay Area Driving Academy helped me passed the driving test on the first try in Santa Clara DMV (which is notable for their strict test evaluators!) Carrie, who was my instructor, was a super cool person and she is very informative on certain areas of improvement when it comes to preparing for the exam! Also, most of the teen lessons are “piggy back,” in which my driving lesson ends at the house of the next student being instructed. In this, the student after me will drive me back home. This “piggy back” method is very safe and also serves a great opportunity to refresh of what you have learned from Carrie, knowing that she will be explaining all of her driving techniques to another student in which you can recapture all the things that she has taught you 🙂 Lastly, the vehicles are the new hybrid Honda civics, and they are equipped with extra brakes for the instructor just in case if a student makes a driving maneuver mistake. 4/16/2018
